CONTRACT HIGHLIGHTS
1. Article 1 - LTO - change to 15 days from 20 days, effective
immediately with no retroactive implementation.
2. Daily rates
( Status quo is two levels, degree and non degree and
three steps to each level as Step 0 - 0 to 149 days, Step 1 - 150 to
299 days, and 300 plus as Step 2)
i) Effective September 1, 2005 collapse non-degree to degree
(about 8 percent of members were here )
ii) Effective September 1, 2004 - 2%
( 0 -$168.30, 1 - $173.40, 2 - $182.58 )
iii) Effective September 1, 2005 - 2%
( 0 - $171.67, 1 - $176.87, 2 - $ 186.23 )
iv) Effective month following ratification ( March 2006 )
Elimination of Step 0, means 1 is 0 - 299, and 2 is 300+
Same rates as above apply.
v) Effective September 1, 2006 - 2.5%
Step 1 is 1 - 149 at $ 181.29, Step 2 is 150+ at 190.89
vi) Effective September 1, 2007 - 3.0%
Step 1 is $186.73, Step 2 is $196.61
vii) Effective Feb. 1, 2008 - .7%
Step 1 is 187.79, and Step 2 is $199.00
3. LTO rates
( status quo is 95% of TECT/TSU Grid )
( September 1, 2006 is 98%, September 1,2007 is 100% )
4. Benefits - DENTAL 75% paid
Effective 2006 09 01 ODA update to 2004 schedule.
Effective 2007 09 01 ODA update to 2005 schedule.
Effective 2008 09 01 ODA update to 2006 schedule.
EHC 75% paid

5. Board pays 40 days for bargaining, up from 32.
6. Article 7.17 c) OTs doing half-day get $15 for middle lunch
